Transportation to and from AMI Florida
Please, do not wait until you are scheduled to leave AMI on your last day here to obtain transportation to TPA or SRQ.
Many people have failed to make transportation reservation until the final day of their vacation here at Anna Maria Island.
To their surprise they have encountered car services and transportation companies fully booked. Please do not depend on ride share companies, such as Uber, to provide early morning transportation from Anna Maria. Cartier Limousine Services has provided transportation for people when the Uber drivers did not show up or their transportation was cancelled by Uber.
I would suggest that transportation services to and from the Anna Maria be researched and booked at least 2 to 3 weeks, if not more, before your vacation time.
Another important consideration that should be considered during this period is the traffic going into Anna Maria and leaving on weekends. Depending on timing, you can encounter traffic backups in the late morning and early afternoons that will take 1 to 2 hours of sit in traffic drive time.
